Declaration for Increase of Pension

Under Section 13, Act of July 27, 1868

County of Montgomery

On this 5 day of April A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy one, personally appeared before me CLK of the Court of Common Pleas with and for the County and state aforesaid, William Little aged 26" years, a resident of Nat Mil Asylum in the County of Montgomery and State of Ohio, who being duly sworn according to law, declares that is the identical William Little to whom was granted Pension Certificate No. {blank} payable at Cleveland Ohio at the rate of eighteen dollars per month, issued under the act of July 14" 1862 that he makes this declaration in order to secure the increase of his pension to which he is entitled under the thirteenth section of the act of July 27, 1868.

I further desire all Certificates and Communications regarding this application for arrears, to be forwarded to Daniel O'Driscoll, Nat Asylum, Dayton O who is authorized to receive same for me.

Also personally appeared John Bridge and Wallace Gillespie residents of Nat Mil Asylum County of Montgomery, and State of Ohio person whom I certify to be respectable and entitled to credit, and who being by me duly sworn, say that they were present and say William Little sign his name to the foregoing declaration; and they further swear that they have every reason to believe, from the appearance of the applicant and their acquaintance with him, that he is the identical person he represents himself to be; and they further state that they have no interest in the prosecution of this claim.
