William Harrison Little

Son of William and Nancy Jobes Little, was born at Damascus, Ohio, December 27, 1843; enlisted in Co. B. 104th Regt. O.V.I, at Salem, Ohio August 9, 1862; was in the battles of King's Salt Works and Marion; was wounded, and discharged June 24, 1863, on Surgeon's certificate of disability; reenlisted August 29th 1862 in the 12th O.V.C. captured December 24, 1864 in action at Lebanon, Virginia, and held in Libby prison for four months; mustered out August 29, 1865, at Camp Chase. After the close of the Civil War, Mr. Little served for eight years in the O.N.G.; was commissioned Captain, and for five years was Captain of Co. D. 2nd Regt; later he was active in politics. He is at present Chief of Staff of Dept of Ohio, G.A.R. He married Vetura Lydia Fowler at Bellaire, Ohio on July 4th, 1872, who died July 9, 1919, aged sixty-eight years; to them were born four sons and two daughters. Mr. Little's favorite pastime is hunting and fishing.
