Aged Mother of Cantonian Dead

Captain Little's Mother passes away at Age of 94 years

Mrs. Nancy Little, 94, mother of Captain W.H. Little, a well known resident of Canton, died Thursday in her home in Damascus, Coumbiana county where she spend nearly all her life.

Mrs. Little was reared in the little Quaker colony near Damascus and was a member of that faith until she was 24 years of age when she united with the Methodist church.

She has four sons and one daughter. All of her sons served in the Union army during the Civil War. J. Dillworth Little, one of her sons was killed at the siege of Vicksburg and

Mother of Canton Man Dies, Aged 94

Captain W.H. Little, 208 South Walnut street, received word Friday morning of the death of his mother, Mrs. Nancy Little, of Damascus, who passed away Thursday evening. Mrs. Little was 94 years of age. The funeral services will be held in Damascus Sunday afternoon at 2:30.
