Private William Little of Lt W.J. Nelson's Company B of the 104th Ohio Vol Regiment of United States Infantry was enlisted by J.K. Coates of the {blank} Regiment of {blank} at Salem Ohio on the 9th day of August 1862 to serve 3 years; he was born in Columbiana Co in the State of Ohio is 18 years of age, 5 feet 4 1/2 inches high, light complexion, grey eyes, brown hair and by occupation when enlisted a Laborer.
During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty 60 days. On account of Encipunt Phthiis and under age (being but 17 yrs of age). Disease was contracted since enlistment - no further history of the case known.
